Iron Hill Construction Management is completing a 50,000 sq. ft. expansion for Bosch Rexroth at 2300 City Line Road in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, further strengthening the company’s long-standing presence in the Lehigh Valley. Designed to enhance operations at the existing facility, the addition will help improve lead times, support continued growth, and reinforce Bosch Rexroth’s commitment to Bethlehem, where its roots date back to 1967.
The expansion is being carefully integrated with the existing facility and tailored to support Bosch Rexroth’s advanced drive, control, and automation technologies. Key components of the project include structural steel framing, upgraded utilities, high-performance mechanical systems, and an exceptionally flat floor to meet the precision demands of the company’s AutoStore system. While construction has required navigating challenges such as unsuitable soils and ongoing operations at the active adjacent facility, the team remains on track for completion. Once complete, the expansion is expected to create 50 new jobs in the region.
