Freshpet Corporate Headquarters, Built by Iron Hill Construction Management, Named 2026 Office Deal of the Year by NAIOP New Jersey

Iron Hill Construction Management (Iron Hill) served as General Contractor for Freshpet’s new corporate headquarters in Bedminster, New Jersey. Freshpet is a leading manufacturer of natural dog food made with high-quality proteins and farm-fresh produce. The company relocated from Secaucus, New Jersey, and also operates a manufacturing plant in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

This newly constructed office project was completed in partnership with Advance Realty Investors (Advance), and spans 30,000 square feet across two floors. It features a variety of environmentally conscious and pet friendly features, supporting Freshpet’s core mission of Pets, People, & Planet.

The facility features open and adaptable workspaces, a two-story central town hall for company gatherings, breakout and collaboration areas, a large employee pantry, green wall, and a dedicated dog playroom. Natural materials, expansive glass, and energy-efficient systems create a modern yet welcoming environment, while outdoor spaces, landscaped walking areas, and integrated pet-friendly amenities encourage employees and their pets to engage with the campus throughout the day.

At the NAIOP New Jersey Annual Gala, held on May 14th at The Palace at Somerset Park, the project was presented with the Office Deal of the Year award. The award recognizes projects that demonstrate excellence in design, development, and execution, while making a meaningful impact within New Jersey’s commercial real estate industry. It is the result of a collaborative effort between Iron Hill, Freshpet, Advance Realty Investors, Bedminster Township, and the rest of the project team to deliver a truly one-of-a-kind project.
