Iron Hill Construction Management (Iron Hill) is nearing completion on a 75,000-square-foot expansion for Phoenix Tube Company, a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel tubing, rounds, squares, rectangles, and processed flat bar. The new facility, located adjacent to Phoenix Tube’s existing 200,000-square-foot plant at 925 Bethlehem Drive in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, adds dedicated space for production, warehousing, and offices, supporting the company’s continued growth and operational needs.
The expansion features heavy manufacturing areas, a 3,200-square-foot mezzanine for office and storage space, reinforced concrete floors designed for industrial equipment, and upgraded utility and mechanical systems to optimize workflow and efficiency. Steel framing and high-performance envelope systems were used throughout to provide long-term durability while accommodating future operational flexibility.

“From the outset, this project was about creating a facility that supports Phoenix Tube’s growth while maintaining high standards for safety, efficiency, and quality,” said David Baughman, Project Manager at Iron Hill. “We worked closely with their team to align the design with their operational requirements, and it’s been rewarding to see the vision take shape on site.”
The project is on track for completion later this year, providing Phoenix Tube with a modern, flexible manufacturing and office space designed to support decades of operations.
