Iron Hill helped bring new life to a long-vacant site in Plainfield by building a modern community and early education hub from the ground up. This 25,000 sq. ft. facility now serves as the home of Second Street Youth Center, delivering vital services to families across the city.
The new center includes 14 classrooms tailored for early childhood education, a 4,500 sq. ft. outdoor play area, and flexible community space to support programs ranging from youth recreation to parent engagement. Iron Hill collaborated closely with local stakeholders and project partners to deliver a space that strengthens the neighborhood and supports the next generation.
