Iron Hill Construction Management is completing the Development and Design/Build of a 216,000 sq. ft. cold storage facility for Freshpet at 757 Hellertown Road in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The pet food manufacturer is headquartered in New Jersey and operates kitchens in Pennsylvania and Texas, but this will mark their first dedicated cold storage facility.
Located within Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII, the project offers excellent proximity to Freshpet’s existing Bethlehem kitchen. The Class-A facility was designed to support the efficient storage and handling Freshpet’s unique refrigerated pet food products, which are made with all natural ingredients. The team is collaborating closely to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that enables Freshpet to fulfill their mission of Pets, People, & Planet.
