Iron Hill Construction Management has completed the Design/Build of a 61,000 sq. ft. Class-A food-grade cold storage and processing facility for Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. in Edison, New Jersey. Located at 484 Plainfield Avenue, the facility represents Wei-Chuan’s first East Coast distribution location and a major expansion for the leading manufacturer and distributor of authentic frozen Asian food products.
The completed facility features a 3,000 sq. ft. cooler and a 21,000 sq. ft. freezer. The project was carefully coordinated to meet stringent FDA and USDA requirements, ensuring compliance with the highest standards for food safety and operational performance.
Wei-Chuan is known for its frozen food products including potstickers, dumplings, noodles, buns, and spring rolls. The manufacturer operates additional facilities in California and Tennessee, so the New Jersey facility will strengthen their ability to serve the East Coast market.
